I would like to introduce myself here. In the meantime I have become old and wise, but my love for 3D models and science fiction has not left me today.
I used to draw my 3D models with pen and pencil, today with Sketchup in 3D. Add to that my great passion for rendering.
Unfortunately, everything does not always work out, but with the tools that are available to you, it's a lot of fun and accidental models come out. As I come from architecture myself professionally, my way of constructing models has been defeated in realism and grace.
I think I would have to be a student or a graphic designer to throw all kinds of statics and possible architecture overboard and then implement the limits of feasibility in design studies.
But this is unrealistic for me, nice to look at but hardly realizable.
That's why I think with my models and my feasibility rather to the Physik.Diesebezüglich, I draw and construct mainly spaceships and everything that belongs together. A special feature is that I really try to render everything in 3D and hardly use Photoshop and Co.
When drawing, I use Sketchup and various plugins and ACDSee Ultimate Pro, Photoshop and Corel. For rendering I use Thea and for creating the textures ShaderMap.
